My most recent paintball portrait series is based on a set of rabbi trading cards from the 1970’s. These paintings were completed in August 2014 in Cleveland Ohio at Riverbend Farm thanks to the generosity of the Reitman family. The images are created on heavy watercolor paper shot with paintballs. Once the paintball goop has cured, the face shape can be carved away, then painted by hand. Paintball, and acrylic on watercolor paper. Scroll down to view the series and see more about the process.
