This is a series of studies of 18th century portraits. These paintings were created in October of 2013 at Riverbend Farm in Cleveland Ohio thanks to the generosity of the Reitman family. The images are created on heavy watercolor paper shot with paintballs. Once the paintball goop has cured, the face shape can be carved away, then painted by hand. Paintball, and acrylic on watercolor paper. Prints are available for sale here.
