Very cool project completed at Infinite Scenic in East Orang NJ. This painted muslin was painted like a traditional theatrical backdrop and was then wrapped around columns in the event space. Some matching sculptural pieces to gave the stones some irregular form. Some faces of the columns are shadowed. The final effect was a convincing environment that matched the game graphics. It was meticulously painted to match the hand of the original game design illustrations. Especially the “inked” lines of the stones. Below is an in-process photo, followed by the finished muslin pieces, before they were packed up to send to the event space.
